El Mirador
At the beginning of the 90’s, a group of Canarian entrepreneurs decided to build a shopping centre with a difference, inspired by the architecture of the islands. True to his style, the architect Andrés Piñeiro initially built the Bahía del Duque Gran Hotel and later the El Mirador Hotel, located in an exclusive area of the island and with spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. The El Mirador 5 * Luxury. Hotel opened its doors to the public in December 2001. It is located in Costa Adeje, an area where most of the most prestigious and top-class hotel establishments are located.
Two years later, in 2003, El Mirador Shopping Centre was born, located at the foot of the El Mirador Hotel and on the promenade of Playa del Duque beach. It has direct access from the Hotel and along the pedestrian promenade to the beach.
The El Mirador Shopping Centre has nineteen stores dedicated to shopping, restaurants and services, making it an exclusive experience for both day and night, and offering a wide variety of complementary activities.
The personalised and exclusive attention in an environment of wellbeing and beauty characterize and distinguish this unique shopping centre, which recreates the architecture of a Canarian hillside village, with its fountain square, Canarian patio, wooden balustrades, replicas of authentic houses of the Canary Islands.
In 2005, the Acanto Café-Bar was inaugurated, unique in all aspects of its design, decoration and location. Acanto adds to the leisure experience with its lounge style in a relaxed and select environment.
In 2008, consolidating this magnificent business project, La Nonna Restaurant (traditional Mediterranean cuisine) begins its successful journey. Faithful customers, who visit, sometimes several times during their stay in Tenerife, are without doubt the best letter of introduction.
In 2011, the oriental dream comes true with "Sobo" Restaurant; (Japanese, Chinese and Thai cuisine), with the aim of completing the already varied restaurant experience on offer at El Mirador Shopping Center. with an exotic touch of quality.
